That seemed to be the question that continuously haunted her thoughts, leaving for only moments to allow her brain to contemplate her next move before returning. ’what will become of me?’ She felt as if she were some form of God’s cruel amusement. As if she were his plaything, some type of guinea pig for his newest plague that he would force upon the earth when its time had ended. Was he punishing her? What had she done? Perhaps it was just her devilish persona. Perhaps, it was the fact that she found thrill in ruffling the feathers of those around her, as well as asserting herself upon them as well. Had she really been that bad?
She had hardly even kept track of where her leaden paw steps had taken her. She simply knew that it was slowly getting cooler. The land about her was nothing more that foliage, vines, and random shrubs intertwined trees. The sunlight pierced through the canopy in any place that it could, giving the thicket more of a heavenly look. ’When you see streams of sunlight, children, it means that another wolf has been taken up to heaven.’ Her lips seemed to sneer up in a half grin as she remembered her mother and the words that had been spoken to her. She remember herself as a pup, Sitting next to Atticus Kaler in front of a beam of light, staring at the splotch of yellow it left on the ground.
”Kyro…” Her gaze shifted to look at her brother as he lay on the ground. He looked so weak, so sickly thin and pitiful. Crimson streams lined his cheeks and a steady drip of blood broke from his muzzle. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him “you see that sun stream?” Kyro looked at the splotch of light sitting just away from her paws “yeah, I do” Looking back down on her brother, a stark look crossed his expression, then the remnants of a smile broke through “Those are my angels coming down to get me.”
Now she knew what had happened to him, knew the pain that he had to endure. She walked through one of the beams and paused, looking at the patch of her fur that was now painted stark white ’Are these my angels?’ A low growl escaped her vocals as she coughed, choking back the copper-like taste that stung her throat. ’Demons would be more believable.’ She took another step forward and almost shot back as her paw met with the shallow frigid water. A creek? She was standing almost in a creek. After a glance around, she lowered her head, letting her muzzle dip into the cool water, allowing it to wash away the red coloring that seemed to take over the creamy white of her muzzle. Pulling up her muzzle, she allowed herself to splash a bit in the water, allowed a bit of ‘play time’ so to speak. She pounced about, leisurely dallying after a small fish. Oblivious to the fact that Romur was perched atop a rock only feet away.
The water had been overwhelmingly relaxing, seeming to take the pain that plagued her in the form of memories away. The smooth stones beneath her paws were a nice change from the rather hard, harsh ground on which she had been traveling all day. The Rays of sunlight were flickering as the trees moved in a slight breeze that washed over the land, making her look up and watch the streams in all their glory. She had been at ease, for the first time in days. She was alone, and able to be less on edge than she normally was.
The Silence was welcoming, beckoning her to stay a while and relax, feel alright for the first time since the hatred had overtaken her body, since the day she ended her own brother's life.. Slowly she stopped, finding herself standing in the middle of the creek, allowing her mind to take over for a moment.
'Atticus Kaler, her beloved brother was gone. Her dearest mother had been overtaken by another pack, and her father had died just a bit before she had reached the age of a yearling. It was simply her, Wolvesbane Nero, and Damien Axias. She was left in her family, beneath the rule of her tyrant brother, constantly pushed about, forced to submit to his will, and forced to ignore the brutal beatings her other brother endured as Omega. She had always been the gentle type, the one who cared enough to at least try and stick up for Nero. She had been playful and fun loving, until Axias pushed her way to far. Finally, Illyad Kyro had started fighting back, snapping at her brother here and there. Then it happened. "Kyro, are you crazy, your going to your death" Nero followed at her side, trying desperately to change her mind, only to be turned on himself. Kyro spun around, fangs digging into the back of her brother's nape, throwing him to the ground "I have nothing more to live for, Nero, what do I care?"'
That was the last time she saw Nero. She and her brother dueled to the death, With Axias' carcass left apon the earth in the end. She had fled, dissapeared from her homeland, ending up here as a Vana pack member.
""Good evening, fair maiden. How fair an afternoon today, is it not?"
She would have leapt from her earthly skin, if at all possible. How had he approached her without her knowledge, she surely would have gathered his scent. In an instant, she spun about to face the male behind her. Her hackles rose, making her look slightly bigger than she was, yet no where near enough to match the size of the male before her. Her lips drew back in a sinister sneer like expression, revealing her ivory canines and a rumbling growl barreling through them. She lunged forth, ready to attack first and ask questions later, but just as she did so, her paw slid across the wet stones that had once been so welcoming, resulting in a restrained yelp and a crash landing just a few feet away from the male before her. She had seen him before, and from his scent, he was a vana wolf.
Quickly, Kyro scrambled to her feet and backed up, returning to her former position of snarling and attempting to ward off the male who had caught her at a rather vulnerable time. " Why did you sneak up on me, wolf?" She snapped in a rather irritated tone, yet her mind and eyes looked him over, inquisitively. He was handsome, a slightly larger wolf, yet very well proportioned. His gray pelt was lit up with the ray of sunlight that both poured on him and around him 'Those are my angel's coming to take me' Kaler's words danced trough her mind 'My angel?' Was her brother trying to make her feel as if she were going crazy? He even looked majestic and peacful, traits that she believed and angel would posess. She was no where near needing and Angel to lead her to Heaven, so she pushed the thought to the back of the head, glaring at the male, daring him to make a wrong move.
'are you my angel?' [/ul]
